It is paradise and all you will hear is the birds! You will fall in love with this lovely house, it has so much charm and character. We can happily share many guest comments about their stay. Some leave poems, others little sketches. A few find serious archaeological finds!

Le Vieux Moulin has a large airy sitting room with a woodburner. The charming kitchen has a contemporary, fresh look and yet of traditional design and made in wood. It has a welcoming feel to it. With its splendid butler sink, it is all simple and works beautifully! A new freezer for 2019.
The lower part of the house has a quiet study with river view. The pretty bathroom is fitted with a traditional roll-top bath & shower. It boasts a chaise longue. The peaceful Garden Room, which converts to a Double or Single, looks out to the gardens and stream.

The traditional Longere design allows for privacy between the two ends of the house with separate stairs to bedrooms. In the lower part, climb the stairs to the Duck Blue room and be entranced by its light decor, French furniture, and lovely calm feel. There are ample storage/luggage rooms.
For those chilly Spring or Autumn evenings, there is central heating, and a most efficient Danish woodburner. There are practical traditional tiles & nice wood floors throughout, and very easy to clean.
There is an outside store for garden equipment, boiler and tools. The property further benefits from mains water, electrics, Gas, fosse septique, central heating and excellent wifi.

Brittany is a land of legends, myths, and megaliths. Enjoy the wonderful variety of foods, and the Breton speciality sea food.
There are stunning beaches, coves, historic towns steeped in history and the region boasts numerous festivals of art, music and dance throughout the year. Our nearest historic town is Guemene-sur-Scorff 8 mins away. Wander around and its sense of history will capture you. It has a Castle, the Queens' Baignoir, and the old walls and archaeological site are being restored. With several bars, restaurants, charming cobbled streets and art & music festivals, you will love wandering around.
Faouet & Quimperle are two of the most attractive towns in the region.
Down on the Golfe du Morbihan there are the fine old ports Vannes and Auray. Both offer stunning waterfronts bustling with waterfront cafes and restaurants and pleasing cobbled old streets. The beautiful Lac du Guerledan is only 30 mins away and the historic Nantes a Brest Canal and River Blavet offer wonderful walks and cycle rides.
Many guests are happy just relaxing and doing absolutely nothing but read, play games, a bit of Badminton, Boules and relax!
