Location
Set in the foothills of Mount Canigou in the Parc Naturel Régionel des Pyrénées Catalanes - the beautiful Languedoc region of the South of France. It is within easy reach of both the Mediterranean coast and the ski resorts.
A 15 minute riverside walk takes you into the village with its friendly bistrot, school and handful of small shops. It is just 3 km to the nearest town with all amenities including a supermarket, petrol station, thermal spa and sports facilities.
There are many miles of beautiful walks and cycle rides directly from the house.
Access
The nearest airport is Perpignan, about 45 minutes away. Beziers and Girona are both about 1 ½ hours, Carcassonne and Montpellier 2 hours and international airports of Barcelona and Toulouse are both around 3 hours away. The TGV train goes from Paris to Perpignan. The village has a euro-bus service.
Interior
The gites and apartments are all completely independent with fully-equipped kitchens. In addition to this, the large central kitchen is fully equipped to cater for up to 30 people with 2 hobs, 2 ovens, 2 fridges and 2 dish-washers.
The grand salon is a substantial, adaptable room of 70m². With its home-cinema projector and screen, it is suitable for anything from wedding receptions to yoga studio. There is also a well-equipped gym, games room and dining room, along with cellars and the essential laundry.
The property is in an excellent state of repair throughout and will be sold fully furnished and equipped, complete with hotel quality bedding and towels.

Exterior
The property is set in 2 acres of secluded grounds on the outskirts of the village. There are lawned terraces with gorgeous views. The area is a paradise for hikers, mountaineers, cyclists, bird-watchers and all lovers of nature. There are several of France’s “Plus Beaux Villages” located nearby including the UNESCO world-heritage site of Villefranche de Conflent and Eus, the sunniest village in France! The famous Petit Train Jaune mountain railway is always popular with guests, as are the nearby ski resorts of the Pyrénées.
The area has a wealth of cultural attractions with many abbeys and caves and a vast array of canyoning, watersports and Via Ferrata opportunities.
It is a renowned fruit-growing region and as you head towards the coast along the “Route des Vins” you will see vineyards growing many well-known grape varieties. There really is something here for all the family.

The current owners have lived here since 2012 and in that time established a thriving business with an excellent reputation. The accommodation is extremely flexible and can cater for groups of any size from individuals up to around 30 people. The gites and B&B are all very successful as individual units, but can also be rented together to offer a specialised service to larger groups of 3-generation families or sports/ mountaineering clubs etc.
