Summary
I have owned and enjoyed this beautiful Apartment for 18years . The location is superb for accessing the Chateau , shops , bars and restaurants but super quiet too .
The river Loire is less than a 5 minute walk away . You have to view this place to get the real feel for it .
The bedroom is in a cave which is amazing and you sleep like a log .
There is a private rear courtyard and huge cave . These u furtiamrkt have been neglected over the last few years as I’ve not been there but you can see from pictures how we used them and how they can look . Not many apartments in town have this as a private area .
The kitchen is small but it’s kitted out and I’ve made some amazing meals in there and the lounge is huge so has our dining table and cupboards for pots etc in there as it was Originally the Dining room to an important Grande Maison !
Some of the features are priceless as they are original and you are really buying a piece of History .
Location
Located on a street with large private gates . You can literally walk to all parts of Saumur in minutes but still feel secluded when back at home .
Access
Access by road is easy . There’s parking outside the main gates . The train station is a 10 minute walk away.
Cycle paths are every where
